I found a gathering of elderly folks engaged in a competitive yet friendly game of croquet in a park near Kyoto. I took a particular interest in capturing some photos because it felt so refreshing and  different, having lived in Thailand for so many years, where the elderly are rarely seen outdoors, let alone engaged in any kind of sports. With the climate of Thailand being as hot as it is, that is completely understandable. I already find myself indoors a lot more than I was when I first arrived in Thailand. (Kyoto, Japan)
