A father wades his baby by the hand onto the salt and through
the water near the Great Salt Lake. Water seems everywhere, and
yet not a drop to drink. If you are thirsty do not drink water
from the ocean, the salty water will only make you more thirsty.
The water from the Great Salt Lake is even less helpful, it is
so salty that you will float even if you don't know how to swim.
A word of caution though, the Great Salt Lake is divided into
many segments, and some of those segments, like Willard Bay,
have fresh water with very little salt content. |
