 Erawan Falls
December 6, 2008   "Wung Macha"

Getting its name from a three headed Hindu god, these falls lie in the Tenasserim Hills of Kanchanaburi Province, about a three hour drive from Bangkok.  Located in the national park of the same name, the falls have seven tiers that span about a mile, the lower tiers relatively easy to get to, while the last two tiers require the use of rickety ropes and ladders.  Each tier has it's own name and this, the second tier, is called "Wung Macha".
