Duck Confit

What you see above are two duck legs, slowly cooked over a low heat for a long period of time. When I told my friend about this meal he asked if it was tender. Up until then I had never thought about it, but upon his prompted reflection I responded, "Yes, it's very tender." That's the best way to describe this meat, dark, delicate, tender, and very savory. I adore the potatoes, too. I have tried to get an extra serving of these potatoes, and I have tried to order them on seperate trip just as a side, but they have told me the potatoes only come with the meal. The whole meal is prepared at the Wine Connection for about 460 baht ($13.37.) (next dish)
