Last week I published the page previous to this one, and sent
its link to
several of my friends. A couple of them replied that they didn't
know that the northern lights could be seen in Utah. That has
prompted me to publish another photo of the aurora borealis this
week. I chose the previous photo because I liked the rock
formations, but this image was taken earlier when the spectacle
was brighter. In response to my friends, or anyone else who is
wondering, yes, it is rare that the northern lights can be seen here in
Utah, which makes these images all that more precious.
