For Mother's Day I have decided to extend the digital flower
garden that I started working on Easter Sunday. I frequently
drive past the Ogden temple and have often thought I should stop
and smell the tulips there. That was low on my urgency list
since from the road it appeared there weren't that many flowers
anyway. Then one night as I left my house I took a look at the
sky trying to determine where I should tote my camera for the
evening light. The clouds were heavy and dark over my house, but
to the south the sky was open and the sun was shining, so I
decided to head in that direction, still not sure what my
destination was. I passed by the Ogden temple, as I have done
may times before, and thought, "This is the perfect night to
stop here." One difference I immediately appreciated about this
location was that since the temple was not under construction I
could include its walls in my compositions. Happy Mother's
Day! |
