As a nature photographer there isn't a lot for me to photograph in the city of Bangkok. Occasionally, however, I find precious little gems, usually close-ups that don't show the larger chaos of concrete and steel, like this Monarch butterfly in a patch of flowers just down the street from me. You might actually be surprised to notice how many of the photographs in this gallery were taken within Bangkok city limits, most of them very close to where I live. That seems to reaffirm a maxim I once read that good photographs can be found anywhere. |
