The trunk of a tree long since deceased has fallen against a
colorful rock wall in Zion National Park. Every time I sift
through my images and see this one, it fascinates me, as there
seems to be a bit of a bronze touch even in the wood of the
fallen tree. But is the canyon light refecting the color off of
the walls, or through the years has water dripped off of the
walls and stained the wood? (May 5, 2003 Film: Fujichrome 50) |
