The Holey Place April 20, 1994
Film: Fujichrome 50
The trunk of a tree has fallen to the ground and begun to decay,
while insects have drilled a pattern of holes into it. The bark
is long gone, but the wood, as if it has started to petrify, has
turned a beautiful reddish color (I made no adjustments whatever
that would change or enhance the color of this image.)
