At the break of dawn I walked
through a Koh Samet restaurant on a straight course for the beach when I noticed that
all the chairs were up on all the tables... except for this one. This lone table, with
its lone glass, portrays a person who stayed drinking, alone with his
thoughts, perhaps long after the restaurant had closed and all the
employees had gone home. Had I taken the image in its original location it
would have held little aesthetic value, instead I moved the table, its
lone chair and lone glass, next to the waves where I tried to convey the
reality more aesthetically. For the long title I would like to call this,
"Dawn crawls across the sea revealing a lone table where one person spent
the night drinking alone." |
