There is plenty to eat for these beautiful little moths who all seem to gather on the same big flower.

This flower is about five times as large as the portion you see in this photograph. I had some competing interests trying to determine the depth of field for this image. I definitely didn't like the background in focus at all, but keeping the background out of focus made it difficult to keep all of the subjects in focus from the front end of the flower to the back end. For years when going through my images I have always passed by this collection of attempts, unhappy that not all the butterflies (I use that description loosely) were in focus. Today I decided to crop in on this one portion of the flower where enough of the subjects were in focus to make an interesting composition.
