If a snow storm slipped into the valley after the
fruit blossoms were in bloom, I was always out looking for great images,
which is more difficult than it may at first appear. Usually the snows
would either melt instantly, overwhelm the blossoms, or sap the liveliness
out of them. Good composition was always tough. This popular image of pink
plum blossoms crossing white apple blossoms near my home in Holladay, was one of the rare successes. |
