Not your typical wildlife
photographer, I have only a 300 mm lense with the widest aperature at 5.6.
In the fading light, camera loaded with Fujichrome 50, that meant I was
going to have to be quite close, and I was going to have to shoot at a
shutter speed of 1/2. Translation: I needed a lot of luck tonight. As you
can see, all my planets seemed to line up. Most nights I would not
be so successful. |
