Can you see my refection in the bottom of her
shoes? That is the story of my life (lots of laughs!) In truth, I
was crossing this bridge when I recognized Dear from a dance she and
her troupe had performed at Central Lad Prao two years earlier. Though
I hadn't published it yet, I had captured a
video of her
performance. Now here she was on this gorgeously geometric bridge trying
to take a selfie with her mobile. It was quite the opportunistic
timing for both of us. I was able to provide her with a much better
photo, and she was able to give me a great shot for my website.
("Dear" is a nickname that Thais use, and yes it is English, but
they pronounce it "Dee-ah".) |
