During the fall aspen trees almost always turn yellow and I have
had people tell me that they have never seen the aspens turn either
orange or red which they will do, I believe, when they recieve
more than a normal amount of moisture. One of my co-workers once
told me that as a child she used to sing about "popcorn popping
on the apricot trees" to describe spring blossoms in the Utah
orchards. Here I think I could sing about "apricots on the aspen
trees" but should I use the same melody or write a new one? |
